About the Painting:

This painting better sell…I will need bail money.  The shredded currency (that should have gone back to the Federal Reserve) somehow ended up in my hands…and of course, begged to be in this painting!

This painting is a caricature of Ben Bernanke, the Chairman of the Federal Reserve.  Somehow it has got to be funny that he is ready to push the button, to print ba-jillions of dollars, to go out into the economy, and devalue our current dollars.  If he keeps being “button happy,” our currency will be wort no more than the paper Monopoly money on the sides of this painting.  Ugh.

We all need to laugh a little at issues that make us ill and shrink back to think about.  “Benny and the Fed’s” is a nice release. But when you are ready to stop chuckling, there are some interesting documentary links about the History of the Federal Reserve and currency control below.  After all,  who controls a nation's money, controls that nation.
