Join Me On the "Dark" Side....
My "dark art" paintings are a collection of work that is introspective
and cathartic. More often than not, the subject matter of these pieces is a juxtaposition of contrasting opposites.
The paintings dated 2005 (and prior) were displayed as a collection at an exhibit called "Poison and Perfume."
This show opened at a gallery in Springdale, Utah in March 2005. It was the first show where I included a small, wall hanging
bio for each piece, giving a little background about the painting's concept, or inspiration behind the piece.
These series almost always portrays unconventional subject matter, a deep or serious-minded concept, and a sense of
comparison between two perspectives. I hope you will enjoy the dark art paintings.
