A black tie affair, the Golden Show at Juniper Sky Gallery
in Kayenta was an evening of sparkle and shine.
The Golden Show consisted of 22 gold-leafed paintings by Jrel,
ranging in size from small to very large. The show attendees were invited by the artist to "wear something gold, and
bring something gold to leave behind." At the end of the evening, Jrel had 5 garbage bags full of gold leave-behind
treasures, left by those who attended the opening of the show.
Jrel would like to thank the staff of Juniper Sky
Gallery for the amazing job they did organizing the event, the management and owers of Coyote Gulch At Village for hosting
the event, and many others who had a hand in making the evening possible, and successful. You all have the MIDAS touch!
