About the Painting:
"My world is spinning, spinning baby, out of control..."
(oh yeah...with 40 paintings, that's the truth!)
"I'll let the music take me, take me where my heart wants to go."
(that's exactly what I did for this show). I allowed the
music to be my guide in creating each painting in the One-Liners show.
The paintings in this show all look very different from one another; because each song - and the artists that created
them - are unique. Rather than staying within my own, familiar and recognizable artistic style, I allowed the songs to dictate
the look and feel of each piece.
