"The Golden Show"
Enjoy a visual treat for the eye that will shine, shimmer, and sparkle like gold. This special solo exhibit of artist Gina
Jrel's latest paintings will be unveiled on June 11th, 2005 at Juniper Sky Fine Arts Gallery in Kayenta, Utah.
Jrel's "Golden Show" paintings are a collection of pieces done in oil paint and gold-leafing. The images range in size from
small and petite to 6 feet tall by 8 feet wide. The elegant gold leafing technique Jrel uses is reminiscent of master artists,
including Sandro Boticelli, Gustav Klimt, and many religious icon painters from the Middle Ages.
Please join us for a dazzling night of shimmer and shine. Enjoy elegant eats, including chocolate dipped strawberries, sprinkled
with a classy italian touch of glittering, edible 23 karat gold.
Attire for Gina Jrel's "Golden Show" is "fancy and formal." Dress to the nines in fancy, artsy, or even black tie apparel
for this special evening. Tuxedos and gowns are welcomed.
And don't forget....for Jrel's "Golden Show," plan to wear a little something gold, and bring a little something gold to leave
behind.

SPECIAL GOLD LEAFING DEMO AND WORKSHOP
Gina Jrel will conduct a special gold leafing demonstration and workshop for practicing or aspiring artists, or anyone who
just has an interest in how gold leafing painting is done.
The 3-hour workshop will be held from 11am to 2pm on Saturday, June 11th, at the community room at Coyote Gulch Art Village
in Kayenta. Class fee will be $15.00 per participant, to cover workshop supplies.
Class participants will receive a demonstration of the gold leafing technique, and then have the chance to try their hand
at painting on a gold-leafed canvas provided in the workshop. Participants should bring a painting smock, apron, or wear
clothing they are not afraid to get paint on.
